Silvestre Festas was not only responsible for rising the new structure of the University of Coimbra Stadium, but also attended and supported the opening.

This structure is used for indoor tennis and hosted the European Universities Tennis Championship. Its specific characteristics are versatility, safety, and compliance with all Portuguese Tennis Federation rules applicable to indoor tennis. The structure was 2,400m2 and was installed in a record time of 14 days by Silvestre Festas. It was also the first time that the most evolved SFS structure (Steel Frame Fabric Structures) was installed on the European continent.
Silvestre Festas is proud of the important work developed as an integral part of the opening ceremony and invited some individuals with whom they work regularly such as the illustrious João Lagos, who congratulated the Academic Association of Coimbra for their commitment and contribution to the development of tennis in Portugal, and Engineer Domingos Piedade, from the automobile world, who considered the work as an asset for sports in Portugal.
